A 27-person volunteer fire brigade serves the Village of Saint-Antoine. They are also first responders for emergency situations in our territory.
As well, the brigade provides support to the communities of Bouctouche, Cocagne and St-Paul.
Each fall, the brigade conducts a recruiting session. To become a member, you must be 18 years of age and live within the municipal boundary. All candidates whose applications are selected must undergo Criminal Record verification by the RCMP. If you are interested to become a volunteer firefighter, you may complete the application at any time during the year. We will contact you in September if your application is selected for the interviews and tests.
The asphalt patching will be done by the beginning of July within the municipal limits. This work consists of fixing the potholes, improving road surface conditions, etc. Drive safely and expect delays in certain areas.
The garbage pick-up will be on THURSDAY, July 2nd instead of Wednesday July 1st due to Canada Day holiday.
